The Jieldé lamp is a truly French industrial lamp. Tough in its design, but also definitely practical. It was designed by Jean-Louis Domecq in 1950. This French designer wanted to design a fixture that would be simple and robust, but would fit into all workstations. In 1951/1952 the final design called "Loft" went into production and Domecq founded the company that would sell the lamps in 1953, the name of the company consisted of his own initials Ji-eL-De. Since the 1990s, several versions of this lamp appeared such as, the floor lamp, reading lamp, wall and ceiling lamp. Several bright colors also appeared. By now, the design is considered a true design classic. Jieldé lamps feature a different number of arms with wireless hinges between them that can move 180 degrees. The arms of the Jieldé lamps are fixed on a heavy foot, with table clamp or with screwed wall/ceiling/table mounting. These options make it easy to position and use the lamp any way you want, and the adjustment bracket on the shade makes it easy to pull it into a different "position. Jieldé's lamps are made of steel and originally have a colorless coat of varnish. They can also be supplied in chrome with a gloss varnish in different colors. The Loft 3 Arm has 3 arms of 40 cm, a lampshade of 15 cm diameter, with a white lacquered interior and equipped with an on/off switch. The E27 socket is made of porcelain and is suitable for bulbs up to max. 60 watts.
